Russell Herring, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, FNP-BC is a small-town Wyoming kid (Kaycee, population 263 if you’re really interested) who was originally stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, from 2004-2009. He was originally stationed in Great Falls as a missileer, in the 10th Missile Squadron, 341st Operations Support Squadron, 341st Operations Group, 341st Maintenance Operations Squadron and the 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron. After leaving the Air Force, he collected a couple of additional degrees (including a Doctorate of Nursing Practice), before returning to Great Falls to work as a family nurse practitioner. He believes people are far more interesting than their labs and blood pressure and that the key to family practice is accessibility and familiarity. He wants to know about patients' family, business, and their history and will always do his best to be there when his patients need him.
